Personal History Born in Kosovo in 1984 to Spartak and Denisa Zovko, Jada faced a tumultuous childhood marked by the Kosovo Conflict and personal tragedy. After her father's death and a traumatic assault, she escaped to Detroit, eventually making her way to Chicago. Despite these hardships, Jada pursued her passion for art, studying at Wayne State University and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has held various teaching positions, including as an Art Professor at DePaul University and currently as an Art Teacher at the Red Rock Academy for the Gifted.
Timeline 1984 - Born to Spartak & Denisa Zovko in Kosovo
1998 - Kosovo Conflict starts and Spartak joins the Kosovo Liberation Force.
1999 - Spartak is killed in a battle, and when his participation in the KLF is made known, Serbian militants assault Jada, Denisa, and Suzana before setting their house on fire. Jada escaped the burning building alone using her powers and made her way out of the country, relocating to Detroit.
2002 - Jada moved in with an abusive immigration officer, Daniel Obery, for US citizenship.
